#4. Replace window coverings. Curtain and shades become faded and ragged over a period of time.  Roller window shades are inexpensive and can be obtained with prints and other decorations.  Numerous types of pre-made curtains are also available, and when combined with a beautiful rod will bring a new look to any room.

#5. Add fresh flowers. Nothing cheers up a home like fresh flowers. Flowers add beautiful color to any decor, and they also add a wonderful aroma throughout the house.

So, with a little bit of work and imagination, one can quickly have a home that is pleasant to look at and can be enjoyed by the entire family.
